Ingo Sveinsson was born in Reykjavik, Iceland.
He graduated from Reykjavik Conservatory where he majored in Classical Guitar Performance and Music Theory.
He is a versatile musician, performing artist, and a master teacher with a comprehensive career as a performing artist and teacher of the classical guitar.
His musicianship has been highly praised by critics and audiences around the world.
He has also been recognized for broadening the guitar's repertoire.
His interest and interpretation of 20th century music has given him the opportunity to premiere many works by some of today's most prominent composers.
In addition to his career as a solo and ensemble performer, Mr. Sveinsson has appeared as a soloist with many internationally renowned symphony orchestras in most major cities around the world.
Lessons
I teach Classical, Acoustic Steel String and Electric Guitar. I also teach Composition and Music Theory.
All ages are welcome.
You will have one lesson per week. Each lesson is one hour and the fee is sixty dollars ($60.00) per hour.
Payment by check, cash, credit card, Paypal or Venmo. Credit card charges go through Paypal.
Tuition for each given month are due at the first lesson of that month or at the last lesson of the prior month.
In case you have to cancel a lesson, just give a 24 hour notice and I will give you a makeup lesson at an agreed time. Makeup lessons are always within two weeks of the cancelled lesson.
If you cancel a lesson with less than 24 hour notice I will give you a makeup lesson if I can.
